The Santa Clara Valley Chapter is part of District 2 (San Francisco Bay Area) of the California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT), which is an affiliate of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
We are a thriving and progressive music teachers' organization comprised of independent studio teachers, college and university faculty, and performers. Be sure to check out our wide variety of programs for both teachers and students!

Have you seen our Newsletter?

The CAPMT-SCV newsletter exists to keep members connected with chapter events and programs.
It is released monthly, at the discretion of the Editor and President.

Guidelines for Submissions:

Content submitted for inclusion should be informational for members and can include event announcements (masterclasses, performances, events hosted by members), performance or teaching opportunities, or highlighting member achievements (includes teacher and student accolades). No promotional content (promotions of a product, sale of products, or a service provided by members) will be included in newsletters.

Content should be submitted via email to the Editor by the 25th of the month for inclusion the following month.

Text should be submitted in the exact wording as it will appear in the newsletter and will be subject to light editing for clarity.

Images should be in .jpeg or .png format. Images will be resized as needed.
